Ranulfo Paiva Sobrinho - Brazil

Bio: Ranulfo has been involved with blockchain technology and other DLTs since 2009. He is a polymath by nature and an addict to designing and creating innovative 'out of the box' initiatives to solve socio-ecological problems. His focus is currently on the design and creation of cryptoactives and collaborative businesses with environmental and social impact. Co-founder of Satisfied Vagabonds and Cambiatus, and co-author of New Money for Sustainability. He holds a bachelor's degree in Ecology from UNESP, a master's degree in water resources management from UNICAMP, a doctorate and post-doctorate in economics from the Institute of Economics also from UNICAMP.
Laércio Machado de Sousa - Brazil

Bio: Laércio is a Pantaneiro at heart, graduated in Business Administration, was a tourism entrepreneur, works with conservation in private lands since 2001 when he created his RPPNs in the region of Miranda - MS, in the Pantanal. He currently participates in numerous environmental forums and NGO councils. Today, he is the current president of the Pantanal Biosphere Reserve and coordinator of the Biosphere Reserves Network of Brazil - UNESCO. It has been coordinating the only  active project in Brazil creating RPPNs in the Cerrado Biome, under the management of FUNATURA.
Karla Córdoba Brenes - Costa Rica
Bio: Karla is a Costa Rican woman in love with Brazil. She has extensive experience in the areas of sustainability, community conservation, communications, new types of money, new organizational models and blockchain.
Co-founder of Satisfied Vagabonds and Cambiatus, she is the co-author of New Money for Sustainability, Singularity University, and Shuttleworth Foundation alum.
Flávio Ojidos - Brazil

Bio: Flávio has been working on conservation with private lands in Brazil since 2005, he is co-owner and manager of a nature reserve in Serra da Mantiqueira, participates in international private conservation networks and is a member of the group of specialists in Areas under Private Protection at IUCN - União International for Nature Conservation. Creator and Head of Jataí Capital e Conservação, author of the book Conservation in Continuous Cycle and co-founder of the Natus System. He is a lawyer, specialist in Environmental Law and Master in Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Development.

Enrico Bauer - Switzerland

Bio: Enrico is a serial social entrepreneur, computer science engineer, holds the world's first MBA in Sustainability Management, art collector and former gallery owner and curator, educator, trainer and therapist specializing in sound and energy healing and psychosynthesis. For four decades, he has worked in the private sector as an engineer, project and program manager, consultant, director of risk and compliance, founded more than a dozen small and medium-sized companies, and currently owns four companies. Until 2021, Enrico was a member of the Executive Board of Directors and COO of the start-up company Swiss Fintech  YAPEAL and responsible for obtaining the first Swiss Fintech license.

‍Bio: João Bana e Costa is a partner and founder of BANA Consulting and Decision Eyes and has over 20 years of experience in supporting public and private companies around the world in improving their decision-making processes through the implementation of methodologies decision support multicriteria, namely MACBETH.
MACBETH activities aim to support public companies in the construction of proposal evaluation models, in the evaluation of public policies and strategies; private companies in evaluating projects and infrastructure; and also the pharmaceutical industry in evaluating health technologies and collecting patient preferences, among other applications of multi-criteria methodologies.

Bio: Pedro, a biologist with a masters degree in Ecology, has been working for over 15 years on several fronts related to biodiversity conservation, with emphasis on the implementation and management of Conservation Units during his time at the Municipality of São Paulo and State of São Paulo’S Environmental Secretariat. He is co-founder of Jataí Capital e Conservação, where he serves as Technical Coordinator.

Bio: Former diplomat and ambassador for Costa Rica in Japan and at the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. He is bioliterate by choice and an expert in peace and conflict transformation. He is a collaborator at Cambiatus since 2020.
Walter Behr

‍Bio: Walter is an environmental analyst at ICMBio – the governmental institutionresponsible for the Brazilian National Parks system. Before this experience within theBrazilian government, he worked for Greenpeace and was a co-founder of theenvironmental NGO - Pró Bocaina. In addition to working with Federal Protected Areas for almost twenty years, Walter was also the manager of the Itatiaia National Park, the first national park created inBrazil (1937). Itatiaia is an emblematic park located between Rio de Janeiro and SãoPaulo, protecting an important part of the remaining Atlantic Rainforest, one of the mostbiodiverse ecosystems in the world. Back in the early 2000s, he lived in the Amazon forest, where he was appointed to manage a Sustainable Use Reserve. Walter has a degree in Business Administration from the FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas), and for the period of a year, 2013-14, he was a visiting scholar at ColumbiaUniversity in New York City. Along with his wife Luciana, Walter is also managing their private nature preserveinside a pristine rainforest area at the coastal mountain ridge called Serra da Bocaina.

Ademar Romeiro

‍Bio: Graduated in Economic Sciences from the State University of Campinas (1975), Masters in Economics from the State University of Campinas (1977) and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Paris (EHESS/France - 1986). Post-Doctorate at Stanford University (SU/USA - 1994) and at the National School of Water and Forest Engineering (ENGREF/ France - 2007/08) . He is currently a professor at the Institute of Economics at the State University of Campinas. He has experience in the field of Economics, with an emphasis on Agrarian and Natural Resources Economies, working mainly on the following topics: environment, technical progress, agriculture and environment, agrarian reform and sustainable agriculture, ecological economy.

‍Bio: PhD degree in Economy from the Economy Institute of UNICAMP with emphasis in Ecology.

Julien Lucca - Brazil

‍Bio: Investor, software developer and Aikido practitioner. One of the co-creators of Natus, focusing on the aspect of technology and implementation of smart contracts and on coordinating the development stages.  He’s had several ventures, including a crypto-currency exchange.
When he is not helping Satisfied Vagabonds projects he is am studying. With the spirit of an apprentice, he focuses on the areas of philosophy, history, language and he practices fighting games, where he can understand more about man and the world.

Dr. Eduard Müller

Bio: Founder and rector of UCI with vast international experience, having developed professional activities in over 40 countries across all continents.
He is world renowned for his work in Regenerative Development, having established Regenerate Costa Rica in 2018, an initiative to make Costa Rica the first actively regenerative country, integrating environmental, social, economic, cultural, political and spiritual aspects, having dictated more than 300 conferences reaching over 60 countries in recent years.
He also co-directs the joint initiative for the regeneration of Costa Rica and New Zealand with the support of Common Earth, linked to the Commonwealth.
